We’re honored to introduce A Home Called Outside — a new book by Amy Hovis and Greg Thomas that grew from nearly two years spent living almost entirely outdoors in a tiny trailer tucked behind Barton Springs Nursery. Through immersive photography and intimate storytelling, the book explores gardening, outdoor living, ritual, design, creativity, and the beauty of building a life more connected to nature. Deeply rooted in the spirit of the nursery, A Home Called Outside is both a visual journey and an invitation to slow down, reconnect with the land, and reimagine what home can feel like.
