Meet Val Pérez, our licensed esthetician and the head of the Inventive Organics Esthetician Network. Her new skincare studio sits among the gardens of Barton Springs Nursery, a calm, green place to slow down and be cared for.
Val's signature Inventive Organics facials are built around IO's plant-powered formulas, the same products she helps bring to treatment rooms across the network. Every visit is personal. Expect personalized facials, deeply relaxing facial massage, thoughtful skincare guidance, and beauty services shaped around your skin.
The studio is also a place to learn. Val teaches here, hosting Inventive Organics workshops that share the techniques, rituals and formulas behind her work, for estheticians and skincare lovers alike.
Thousands of treatments in, she's still entranced by the craft. She believes lasting skin comes from patience, practice and, above all, consistency.

Park anywhere
Park wherever you like on the grounds, then walk in through the nursery's white gates.
Check in at the shop
The shop is just to your left as you enter. Let the shopkeeper know you're here for the spa, and someone will walk you over.
Settle in
Restrooms are inside the shop, and drinks are available to purchase if you'd like something to sip.
Come early. Let the garden begin the work.
Give yourself a few extra minutes to wander. Slow down under the trees, breathe in the green and let the quiet loosen your shoulders, so you arrive in the treatment room already halfway to calm.

How do I book?

Need help choosing, or have a special request? Text 512.812.7553 with your name, email, the service you'd like, and the days and times that suit you. The line is text only and is answered from our booking desk, so allow 48–72 hours for a reply (it's often sooner).
How far ahead should I book?
Weekends fill quickly, so plan on about six weeks ahead. For weekdays, two to six weeks is usually plenty. Early-morning and evening appointments are offered, though availability varies.
What should I do before my first visit?
Fill out your intake form when you book, so Val can tailor your facial to your skin. Then read Finding your way to the spa above. Come a little early and let the garden help you settle in.
What is your cancellation policy?
Plans change, and we understand. With 48 hours' notice or more, there's no charge. You can usually cancel from your confirmation email.
Inside 48 hours, please text to cancel. Because your time is held just for you, late changes are charged as follows:
- Less than 48 hours' notice: 50% of the service
- Less than 24 hours' notice: 80% of the service
- Within 8 hours, or a no-show: 100% of the service
Rescheduling inside 48 hours counts as a late cancellation. For long-standing clients, fees may be waived case by case. Frequent cancellations may require prepayment for future visits.
What if I'm running late?
Better late than never. Text us and come anyway, and we'll give you as much of your treatment as your time allows. If a late arrival means the service can't be performed, it's treated as a no-show.
What happens if I miss my appointment?
A no-call, no-show is charged the full service fee, and your next visit will need to be prepaid. If you miss your first appointment, we're unable to rebook you.
How do facial packages work?

How do gift cards work?
Gift cards can be bought online and are valid for five years. They hold their dollar value (service prices may change over time) and can't be exchanged for cash. A 20% dormancy fee applies for each year a card goes unused, so we recommend booking within the first year.
